How It Works
1. Enter
Choose your category, complete the entry form, and submit your best work from the qualifying content period. Most creator categories are free to enter.
2. Judging
An independent panel of industry experts evaluates all entries using weighted criteria specific to each category.
3. Shortlist & Nominees
Top-scoring entries are shortlisted and announced publicly. Nominees receive recognition across our platforms and media partners.
4. Awards Ceremony
Winners are announced at our annual awards ceremony in October. The date and venue will be revealed soon.
Our Journey
2022 — The Beginning
The inaugural Content Creator Awards launched with 24 categories, establishing the first dedicated awards platform for South African digital creators.
2023 — Growing the Community
The second year saw expanded categories, more entries, and deeper industry partnerships. 19 winners were crowned across diverse content categories.
2024 — Nelson Mandela Square
The 3rd instalment took place at Nelson Mandela Square with 18 winners. Categories evolved to celebrate the creator as a whole, not just individual pieces of content.
2026 — A New Era
The awards return with a brand new platform, refined categories, and an even bigger celebration of South African content creators. Entries are open now.
